My sweeties have had a great April so far! We were very excited last week when we were able to witness NOT ONE, BUT TWO butterfly births!!! What a great opportunity to learn about new life, and all the yucky stuff too, lol.  Did you know that butterflies bleed when their wings unfold and fill with blood? My kids thought it was strawberry koolaid, lol.  Here are some pics of this miraculous event in our room, along with an easy caterpillar hat to celebrate Butterfly Birthdays!
We were also totally engrossed in our butterfly life cycle graphic organizers, complements of Mrs. Hoffer! Here is her super cute mini-unit on not one, but three life cycles! A must have for Spring!
