But, overall, I am loving the organization I have accomplished so far! School begins on August 13 for teachers, and you know that means faculty meetings and in-services.  I went to school from 3:30 to 7:00 today and really made progress! The poms are coming along well, and with about 7 more to fluff out, I decided to save them for after teacher stuff on Monday.  That fluffing wears you out!
My first tip about poms:  Use little Dollar Tree zip ties to hold the center! These worked like a charm, so accordian folding and all for 10 poms was about 30 minutes.  As you will see in the pics, they are going to look fab! My new chairs are not in, so I refuse to put chair pockets on those old ones until the day school starts for students…just in case they make a showing at the last minute! I will have green and brown chair pockets on all chairs to coordinate with my room.  Can’t wait to see them on.  I am almost ready to set up my math binders, writing folders, and get assessments ready in baskets for dibeling.  We are keeping fingers crossed that we will be using iPad2s for the assessments we do this year :o)

Do you see all the owly stuff all over the place? Those are from my store!  So…DO NOT not miss the  sale at Teachers Pay Teachers starting tomorrow and ending Monday night.  Every store has a sale going, and you might score some of the neat things you see in my room while you are there!

I haven’t even printed Caitlin Clabby’s little “Hot Seat” set, but I am going to! Love that concept!!!

I also have items from Deedee Wills, Fran Kramer, and The Moffatt Girls! You can’t help but have a great year with such quality resources! Now go and fill that shopping cart!!!
