Announcing…STEM Explorations!
I am pleased to announce the publication of a new STEM series from Hameray Publishing entitled: STEM Explorations. It was a privilege to author five books in the set which covers many basic topics related to STEM in the 1st and 2nd grade classrooms. I am very happy to help to bring complex topics in STEM to the level of younger students!
STEM Book Titles
Browsing the possible book titles for STEM Explorations, I immediately knew which ones! Matter has been a hit with every grade! From kindergarten to sixth grade, students learned about Solids, Liquids, and Gases. I am sure they will be a hit with your students too!

What is a Gas?

What is a Liquid?

What Is a Solid?
My Favorite Titles
Two topics from STEM Explorations really “struck a chord” with me: Sound and Sound Waves. Sound is an amazing thing. It rocks our world each day utilizing many environmental and physical features in the world around us to reach our ears. How sound travels is an exciting topic! Again, I wish to thank the editors at Hameray for their undying efforts to bring these titles to life!
Along with my books, there are several other topics by my fellow teacher-authors! We are excited, and hope you will be too! We believe this type of leveled book is needed, and will be enjoyed by students around the world.
Writing leveled books is not easy. Many rewrites, edits, and more rewrites occurred to bring the States of Matter, Sound, and Sound Waves to life. I am indebted to the wonderful editors at Hameray for their undying efforts.
Stay tuned for a future giveaway! And, go check out our new series: STEM Explorations!
