I just couldn’t pass up this linky! So much has happened this year!
Can it be almost 2016 already?!? I am ever amazed at how quickly a year of events, memories, surprises and just “life” can go by.Ā This was a year of extreme joy, wonderful opportunities, heartbreak, hope, professional connections and more.Ā Here are ten highlights from my year as a blogger, teacher, “Nanny Maggie” and human being:
#1 The new year got off to a great start with a wonderful class of 14 students.Ā It was one of those dream years with minimal discipline issues and a lot of positive energy from my little smarties.Ā They ended the year with flying colors by May! We all need one of those years, don’t we?
#2 Probably the most memorable event(s) of 2015 were the numerous snow days which gave me hours and hours to develop my online presence and make numerous connections with top teachers all over the nation.Ā One of the greatest joys in my life for almost two years has been our #TeacherFriends Twitter Chat community that meets every Tuesday at 9:00 EST.Ā It is my most favorite way to learn about the newest best practices in education, while making tons of new friends.Ā Through this experience I have been able to bring Dr. Mary Howard and Dr. Debbie Silver to our chat as guests, after meeting them in our district professional development sessions.Ā I am so proud to be a contributor and co-moderator of this chat along with the dynamic trio of Debbie Clement of Rainbows Within Reach, Kristen Poindexter from Kristen’s Kindergarten, and Kim Vij of The Educators Spin on It.Ā We have formed a friendship that continues to bless me in so many ways.Ā Follow us by clicking on the graphic! You won’t be sorry.
Happy New Year!!!
