Last weekend was state music contest for me.  I accompanied soloists as they competed for state level rankings.  It was a great trip, we have great kids and I got home Saturday before dark (four hour trip one way).

Wednesday is both Field Day and Baccalaureate, Thursday is our K awards assembly, and Thursday night is another music program! Whew! This is the story of EVERY teacher across this great country.  And, as I was telling my good friend Kristen from Kristen’s Kindergarten, we teachers do this every year knowing we will be beyond tired.  Why? Because we want to make a difference.  And as difficult as our job becomes every spring, we know we will get to begin anew in August with a brand new group of amazing children.  For me, it is still exciting, so I’ll begin planning for the new group in June-July.  Wanna know a secret? I am already thinking about it!
