It’s Another Bright Ideas Spronsored Linky! Repurposing and storage!

Hello new world! I am a bit late to the party this morning with my latest Bright Ideas blog post, but I made it! And guess what??? I am out of school for the summer! I know, I know…it’s hard to believe that another sweet group of kinders have completed a year of study. With so many snow days, I must admit is seems too soon!

As I take my room apart for storage, I am so glad that I took the initiative to ask for skirt hangers when I was at JCP a few years ago! I found an associate and asked if I might have about 20 of their surplus skirt hangers with the metal pinch clips. She was more than happy to help a teacher out! You never know until you ask! Those handy dandy things are great for drying paint projects, or for organizing anchor charts by season. Here is my Bright Idea tip #1:

Thinking ahead to next year: There is one element of my classroom that I was unable to part with, so I repurposed it! Here is a picture of the ROYGBIV (color spectrum) poms I made two years ago. They are still beautiful, so my room will be sporting a new Color Pom Tree on the wall in August. I actually have it there already, but forgot to snap a shot of it yesterday (that will be added to the post on Monday). Here are before and after shots of my pom solution!
