October is in full swing, and our first parent-teacher conferences are this week. I am excited to share what my littles are doing already at this early point in the year!
As I keep expanding what my centers include, I have developed more “Magic Writing” opportunities to use in our writing center. I have just completed January, so now there are sets for Halloween, Fall, November, December, and January! This set will grow to include the months of February-May by the time I am finished! If you want it at a steal, it is on sale through tomorrow.
And, I would like to share my experience with a wonderful company for left-handed students. I was given some great tools
to try out in my classroom some time ago, and am just now getting around to writing a post about them! The Lefty’s San Francisco Company has some really neat stuff to help kids cope with learning to hold a pencil and write left-handed. I was fortunate enough to receive the shoe tying board, a nice pen with leads and a sharpener, some nice triangular shaped colored pencils, left-handed scissors, and some pencil grips! All of these are being used by my left-handed students with great results! Thank you Lefty’s!
And just because it is so cute, look at what littles do with sidewalk chalk! Don’t you just love it!
And, in case you are needing some labeling activities for Fall or Halloween, here is a little FREEBIE just for you! There are five activities in this file!
