So, what do you do after you convert to G+? You need a badge, the CORRECT badge, on your page to direct people to follow you. There are two “follow” badges at this link:
https://developers.google.com/+/web/badge/
Blogger already has the widget for the G+ followers to be directed to feed from your personal account, but you need to consider whether you want followers directed to your personal circles, or your business page. It is recommended that you create a business page if you are a seller.
As you can see by following this link, you will have a profile widget, and a page widget. You need to grab the code for the “We’re on g+ badge” (just click and it will let you grab the code). Place the code in a new gadget by going to Layout, add a gadget, and add html. You can move it up or down to the position you want it in in layout and save the arrangement.
This is my experiment in the world of Google and my Blogger blog. I have opted for the business page, which means I have to start all over with drawing people to follow me–the downside to doing a page that has no circles yet. You can, however, add people to your circles from your business page, and it is worth the time to do so.
I hope this post gives you some information that is beneficial to you if you are interested in populating your brand. Thanks for reading!!!
