1st Up!
About a month ago I received a $50.00 merchandise card from Oriental Trading. No strings attached! I am so excited about the following items, I just had to blog about them! During the month of April (before the gift card) I had purchased some cute fedoras for us to wear on field day. Well, they were a hit with my kids, and so were the pencils and other treats I purchased for the end of school.
Next!
Then…
Another thing on my wish list was this very nice Seasons and Holidays Pocket Chart! Guess what? The one I received had some damage to the top corner pocket, so I just called O.T., and those nice guys are sending me a replacement free of charge! They are great to work with when an item has been demolished by various delivery services who shall remain nameless :).
In addition to the items already mentioned, I got some cute owl necklaces, finger puppets, flower hangups (you know, the fluffy ones that hang from your ceiling), and a cute Fall Door surround!
I have shopped at Oriental Trading for at least 22 years, probably longer! They have always been a bargain for the classroom teacher.
Now, for the MOST exciting items for this week! Yup, I fell for the
Martha Stewart Home Office™ with Avery™ Discbound Notebook, Black&White, Smooth, 9-1/2″ x 11-1/2″!!!!!!!
Now, don’t you just love it??? To save major bucks I ordered the Avery paper inserts, dividers, and cute little color coding tear drop shapes to go with it! I am going to put a pretty letter M on it to personalize it when I have time. I think I may use my Cricut Expression to cut a fancy monogram shape from white and black and shadow the letter to make it stand out! What do ya think? Click on the notebook if you want to see it at Staples.com 🙂
And LAST, but certainly NOT least…Ta-DAH…my favorite thing
from this week:
Pilot FriXion Clicker Erasable Gel Pens, Fine Point, Assorted Colors, 7/Pack
These babies come seven in a pack. The colors are vibrant for color-coding your blogging planner and calendar, and though they are pricey at 14.99 a pack, they are totally worth it!!! Love how they erase, and the eraser is very sturdy on the ends. They will last for a long time! They are totally refillable too! Love! Click on the pic above to see them at Staples.com
I’ll be blogging about the planner in more detail as I get it assembled. Here is a great blogging/planning FREE download for those of you who want to print only the months you need until the new 2014-15 calendars come out. Love this site!
