To go along with my Week at a Time Calendar Journal, I have created a display card set for a pocket chart or to be laminated for a bulletin board area (and possibly have velcro dots on the days). Here is the set FREE for my followers and visitors. This keeps calendar in our routine in a way that will focus students on the week rather than trying to find the day and date on the entire calendar grid. I have a whole month posted in the room too, but students like smaller chunks, so here it is! I will post the months of the year this evening. 🙂
So, here I am with some update pics, and the months of the year to go with the Week at a Time set.
I always seem to have grand plans about how much I will accomplish when I go to work in my room, but usually get sleepy or my feet hurt, then I quit for the day. And there are always missing letters from my captions…how DOES that happen??? lol
Here is a pic of my completed math bulletin board (all I need to put up is the Count to 100 caption for the hundred days chart. Pocket charts are just so much easier to use for this type of board! And, do you ever find that you can’t have too many 3M hooks? I found myself making yet another list for Walmart!
I do like how this is coming together 🙂
I added my large shape buttons to the table skirt today too! I am hoping the assigned seating will get
my small group time started sooner. I am tired of the “drama” about who is sitting by who! (I have six buttons around the table).
I noticed after uploading this pic that I had forgotten to put the yesterday arrow back in the pocket.
Also, I never have enough pocket charts, so I made one out of sheet protectors overlapping with just the height of my schedule cards. It looks pretty good if I do say so myself! lol
