So, I have worked on labels and things all summer, but am just now getting around to affixing them to baskets. And I’m telling ya, I love the look! Here is a pic of my newest collection of fuzzies to highlight my classroom library station. Skippyjon caught a ride with the USPS and showed up at my house on Saturday! I cannot wait to read his adventures to my kinders. There are so many opportunities for rhyming activities, class management phrases, and more!
While I was in a nearby city (that’s a 2 hour drive for us country folks!) I went to Dollar Tree. They had absolutely everything on my checklist! In addition to the baskets you see here, I purchased a cute stacking unit. Of course, Pinterest inspired the little trash cans for each of my four table colors–with the exception of the blue basket playing the part of the red table basket 🙂 , they are perfect! I plan to have a custodian for each table each day, so four to five kids will rotate through the week. The owl tags are made with copyrighted owls, so I cannot share them for free, but grab a copy of the little trash labels by all means! I actually get to work on setting up my room beginning Monday. Yippee!

My teammate used trash bins for each table & it was a success. I think I want to try that this year. 🙂
