Another activity we work on this time of year is recognition of sentences or phrases (what sound did the first word begin with?), then put a poem in the correct order.  This month’s poem is Itsy Bitsy Spider.

Students cut the strips out, then place them in correct order on a piece of construction paper and glue them down.
