With budget concerns and economy printing requirements, I have revamped my own math journal to share with you! In it are pre-printed prompts for numeration, counting, addition, subtraction, greater than, fewer than, and graphing. I will be using this 2x a week. There are 44 pages that are left open ended if you want to add your own theme. When I state the prompt, students follow along reading it with me, then I explain they can choose what to draw, or ask them to draw objects representing a current theme. For instance: Draw 2 sharks and 2 starfish, etc. This can be printed as one full set. Insert the title page in a 3 ring binder, hole-punch the rest and place inside, or a cheaper method is to use a front and back sheet protector with paper fasteners to hold it together.
I hope you will find it useful as a less graphics intensive way to have fun with math journaling!
You can find it at my teacherspayteachers store by clicking on the picture. 🙂 Leave feedback or a comment to let me know if this is something that works for you. I have used printable label prompts, but they are time consuming. Prompts included works for me!
Maggie 🙂
